Free Movement Physio is a modern practice that supports our Physiotherapists to follow their areas of interest. We offer flexible work hours including part-time options, and an opportunity to be part of a close team. Free Movement Physio is based across 5 locations in Townsville ensuring a wide variety within your caseload as well as exposure to multiple health professionals. This also fosters your independence and clinical growth by giving a mixture of independent and collaborative work environments.

At Free Movement Physio we focus on quality of service with 45-minute standard appointments, in depth assessments and effective hands-on therapy. Additionally, our Physiotherapists are trained in dry needling, Pilates, Hydrotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy, TMJ, knees, SIJ and spinal conditions. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge through weekly training and participating in community events. Additional professional development allowance is also provided. We provide regular in clinic mentoring and clinical discussions. You will be provided with a professional development allowance to further your chosen clinical interest areas.

Your case load will include a variety of:

  • Private musculoskeletal practice with wide and varied caseload

  • Working with active defence members

  • On field sport coverage and sporting injury management

  • Workcover, Veteran Affair members

  • Acute and Chronic Musculoskeletal pathologies

  • Occasional Respiratory and Neurological Conditions

 

The successful applicant must have the following:

  • Physiotherapy degree with registration with professional indemnity insurances

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • An interest in acute and end stage rehabilitation

  • Relatable, motivated and proactive personality

  • Passion for ongoing learning and progression
