I have extensive knowledge and experience in sports rehabilitation, orthopeadic surgeries and shoulders and knee conditions.
I have worked in Mexico as the Australian under 19 Gridiron team Physiotherapist and am the primary Physiotherapist for the Marian Vixens Netball club.
I am a Garrison Health Provider, which enables me to treat defence personnel off site.
My passion in rehabilitation stems from the exciting nature of individualised care, and providing specific treatment and rehabilitation programs to meet your needs and demands.
I look forward to meeting you at either Douglas, Bushland Beach, Bluewater or Wulguru to get you back to doing the things you enjoy sooner!
I am a Physiotherapist with over 5 years experience working in Private practice in Townsville and Central Queensland with the mining population.
I am a Townsville local and sports enthusiast who studied at JCU where I gained my love for Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy.
I have post graduate qualifications in Dry Needling, Sports Physiotherapy, ACL rehabilitation and management of Chronic Pain.
I get a lot of satisfaction when helping people stuck in pain to make sense of what's happening to their bodies and use a holistic approach to their care to get them back to where they need to be.
Come and see me at Bushland beach, Blue Water, Wulguru or Balgal Beach Medical Practice and lets get your rehab journey started!
I am sorry to hear that you might be in pain and needing Physio! Hopefully I can help you get back to yourself again soon.
I have a special interest in treating conditions associated with women, pregnancy, birth and motherhood. These conditions include neck issues, back pain, Sacroilliac joint pain, De Quervain's tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel and stress incontinence. I have completed further training in Women's Health.
I love hanging with my husband and taking my dog for walks on the beach in my spare time. I also love getting lost in a good book.
Let me help you at either Bushland Beach, Aitkenvale or Balgal Beach.
Director and Senior Physiotherapist
After working in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for ten years, I have decided the thing I love most about my job is being able to listen to people and help them get back to doing the things they love.
I absolutely love seeing little ones! I have additional training in working with babies with Plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome), Brachycephaly and Torticolis (tightness of the neck muscles) and enjoy the challenges and fun of working with our under 6 year old's.
As a mum myself, I understand the demands that pregnancy, birth and taking care of children have on our bodies. I also am very experienced in
treating conditions associated with pregnancy and childbirth, such as low back, SIJ, rectus diastus (split tummy muscles) and neck pain.
As well as seeing clients and their families at our Aitkenvale clinic, I work closely with our other Physiotherapists in a mentorship capacity as well as assisting with the JCU student clinic as a clinical educator.
When I am not working, I am chasing after my toddler Theo. And loving (almost) every moment of it!
I look forward to seeing you or your child at our Aitkenvale clinic.
